The work (1) presented here is the result of research carried out within the "Infoscopos.com" project, whose team specializing in the media is made up of professors from the Complutense University of Madrid (Faculty of Information Sciences and Documentation Sciences) and the Rey Juan Carlos University (Faculty of Communication Sciences). This group is dedicated to the analysis of work routines and production patterns of digital newspapers in four aspects, which in turn have interrelated aspects: content, archiving and retrieval of information, management, production and technology.
The emergence and consolidation of digital journalistic media have brought about enormous changes in all areas of information, and specifically in production. Several authors, such as Jaime Alonso and Lourdes Martínez (2003: 287) or Santiago Tejedor (2008: 621), have stressed this idea.
